ARABOSAI and IDI jointly organized a workshop in Casablanca, Morocco, in June, 2014. The workshop included the launch of the ISSAIs implementation programme (3i programme) in the ARABOSAI region, during which the Statement of Commitment for the programme was signed. Presidents and senior managers of ARABOSAI member SAIs from 17 countries attended the workshop. The Statement of Commitment outlines the objectives, the roles/responsibilities of the related parties in the programme, and the expected results. The programme is intended to cover a three years period from 2014 to 2016 and will allow in particular the training of 90 ISSAIs implementation facilitators in the areas of financial, compliance and performance audit as well as the conduct of audit missions in compliance with ISSAIs requirements.
