During the EUROSAI Congress held in The Hague 16-19 June, IDI Director General, Einar Gørrissen and Johanna Gårdmark from the CBC Secretariat held a joint workshop on innovative approaches to capacity building.
The interactive seminar included participants from a number of European SAIs attending the congress, as well as other stakeholders. The seminar sought to explore the lessons learned in terms of effective and innovative capacity development, drawing on the experiences of the participants as well as the work of the EUROSAI GT1, the CBC and the IDI. The seminar identified practical and innovative tools, approaches and key success factors that can be pursued to effectively enhance the capacity and performance of your SAI.
