The Goal 2 strategic objectives are put into effect through a joint operational plan and the strategic plans and work plans of each contributing organization.
INTOSAI’s Strategic Plan for 2023-28 outlines the organization’s mission, vision, values, organizational priorities and strategic goals. The initiatives for achieving INTOSAI’s four strategic goals are outlined in Operational Plans developed by INTOSAI’s four goal committees. The plans are developed in consultation with relevant INTOSAI bodies and can be updated each year to adapt to changing circumstances. You can find the Goal 2 Operational Plan 2026-2028 here.
Going forward
As the lead entity for Goal 2, the CBC has explored different ways of reporting progress against the 10 priority areas and their associated outcome indicators. However, reporting has often been incomplete. As such, in preparation for the CBC Steering Committee meeting in June 2026, the CBC Secretariat piloted a new approach, using artificial intelligence to analyse publicly available information. Following the meeting, all contributing organisations reviewed the information for accuracy and completeness and provided updates on progress, status and ongoing collaboration. We sincerely thank all contributors for their valuable support.
