In a world that is constantly changing and with more and more expected from the public sector audit profession, the CBC has produced an occasional paper on The future-relevant value-adding auditor in the context of the CBC workstream for Guides and Occasional Papers.
In our rapidly changing world with its many uncertainties, SAIs remain committed to making a difference in the lives of our citizens. But to do so, SAIs need audit professionals who can continue adding value and remaining relevant as we navigate the future. The aim of the paper is to generate dialogue within the CBC and INTOSAI on the key competencies public sector audit professionals should acquire to ensure they can continue to add value and remain relevant in an ever-changing and challenging world.
