This event is led by the Office of the Auditor-General of New Zealand but forms part of the advocacy and good governance programme of the Pacific Association of Supreme Audit Institutions (PASAI). It supports PASAI’s broader aim to enhance understanding of integrity, good governance, and accountability in the Pacific, while highlighting how regional cooperation and shared standards can support sustainable development. Friday 6 March, 11 am – 12.30 pm (New Zealand time)

Join the upcoming integrity webinar, in collaboration with PASAI, to mark International Women’s Day. We’ll hear from women who have taken on major leadership roles across the Pacific and internationally, and who continue to champion integrity, ethical leadership, and strong governance.

Our panel features women whose careers reflect dedication to public service, influence through roles with standard setting bodies, dedication to representation, and commitment to ethical leadership. They will speak about their leadership journeys and opportunities they see for collaboration across the public financial management system to build stronger, more resilient institutions in the Pacific.

The session will be chaired by Lyn Provost, former New Zealand Auditor-General and PASAI Secretary-General. The panel will feature:

  • Carla S Vijian – Principal at the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants (IESBA); contributing to global ethical and professional standards.
  • Wendy Venter – Chief Executive, External Reporting Board of NZ; former Assistant Auditor-General, Parliamentary Group, OAG NZ, and long-standing advocate for high-quality reporting and integrity in the public sector.
  • Hon. Mulipola Anarosa Ale Molioo – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Samoa; a leader in public financial management and transparent governance.
  • Hon. Sashi Kiran – Minister for Women, Children and Social Protection, Fiji; advocate for poverty alleviation, and socioeconomic and health empowerment.
