The Capacity Building Committee (CBC) and the INTOSAI Development Initiative (IDI) continue working together to strengthen SAI capacity and performance worldwide. Over 200 participants joined the global launch and spotlight webinar session on the revised Supreme Audit Institution Performance Measurement Framework (SAI PMF) — long recognised as the gold standard for SAI performance management.
The 2025 SAI PMF introduces updates to align with ISSAI 140 and 150, strengthen risk management, modernise HR practices, and enhance ICT governance — reinforcing its position as the global benchmark for SAI performance and accountability.
Key highlights from the launch:
1️⃣ The revised SAI PMF has been formally endorsed and is now being rolled out across the INTOSAI community and beyond.
2️⃣ Updated guidance and materials will soon be available in Arabic, French, Spanish, and English, supporting broader accessibility and practical use by SAIs globally.
3️⃣ From 2026, a series of activities will be introduced to promote, support, and scale up adoption — including learning events, tools, and targeted implementation support.
Speakers and contributors from the Inter-American Development Bank, Contraloría General de la República | Costa Rica (SAI Costa Rica), and SAI Philippines shared their valuable insights and experiences during the webinar.
