At the XXV INCOSAI Congress in Egypt (2025), the Capacity Building Committee (CBC) presented its report on progress made in advancing Goal 2 of the INTOSAI Strategic Plan—capacity development for Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs). CBC Chair Ms Tsakani Maluleke and Vice Chair Ms Christina Gellerbrant Hagberg highlighted key achievements, challenges, and strategic priorities aimed at advancing SAI professionalism and effectiveness worldwide.
The report underscored the importance of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement in strengthening SAIs globally. Through targeted initiatives, partnerships, and knowledge-sharing, INTOSAI is committed to building capable, independent, and professional audit institutions that deliver meaningful value to the public.
